May Virtual Program
Dear Parents and Swimmers:
I hope you are doing well and everyone is safe at home.
We had some good news last week, the first one was from swimming Canada with the 2020-21 plan, and the second one from the Saskatchewan government about the re-opening plan. We can maybe start swimming again as a small group in phase 4. Until that happens, I hope everyone is still active and engage. But don't worry, we will swim again, sooner or later.
7 weeks since our last swim workout, we are doing the best we can to stay healthy, physically active, mentally engaged. It's not an easy situation but I think our staff is doing a great job with the virtual workout, clinic, individual and group meetings, and social events such as group project and game night.
Our virtual program and Team building was a huge success. Our athletes are connected with Dry Land training, Stroke Clinics, Individual & group meetings, Individual stroke analysis, and conferences. The best part of this program is the team-building with the Dolphins Fit Challenge and the game night.
What's new for The May Virtual Program:
- The theme of May Virtual program will be "Learn Something New"
- Additional game night will be offered Wednesdays 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Groups meeting will be from 11 am to 12 pm instead of 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (You can enjoy your family supper after Dry Land)
- Wednesday conference will be moved to Tuesday to allow the athletes to have Wednesday am Free)
- Individual Skills presentation instead of a group project.
I hope to see more swimmers for the month of May. . We are also welcoming any Members to join the program and pay later. Your swimmer’s participation is important to us and we understand the need for flexibility depending on financial situations.
Let's keep doing our best to keep our community, our neighborhood, and our family safe by staying home, practicing social distancing, and washing our hands as much as we can.
