Message from the President:

As you are all aware, our normal swim team activities have been suspended due to the COVID 19 health emergency. The RODS Board members, together with the coaching staff, have been working hard to devise a comprehensive plan of action to keep our Dolphins Swim Team viable and active during this difficult time. Our coaches have been working hard in the interim to connect with your athletes, keep them engaged, and provide them a variety of programming.

A number of difficult decisions have been made to preserve the financial health of the RODS.

Monthly swim fees will not be collected for April onwards, or until pool facilities re-open.
Any outstanding fees owing prior to this closure will still be collected. Fundraising commitments will be administered at a later date. Volunteer points will remain unaffected until we have a clearer picture of what we can offer in May, June, and July.
The retention of the coaching staff (who and how many) will be decided by the support we receive from our members. We would like to retain some staff to provide basic services, however, some staff will be temporarily laid off.

We are requesting your support at this time to keep the swimmers engaged and active during this temporary closure. We are also requesting your support to keep the RODS viable so that we can resume normal activities for our members once this health emergency has passed. We will be continually monitoring the situation and sending out updates as necessary.

Head Coach Tissira, together with his assistant coaches, has developed a NEW virtual training and Team building program to keep our athletes engaged. I encourage you to select the tier of a program that best suits the needs of your family. Your level of support will determine the coaching staff that can be retained to offer these programs. We are open to discussing flexible payment arrangements that will remain strictly confidential. If you have prepaid your swim fees for the year, and you are not selecting any of our new programming options, please consider leaving the balance on your account for credit towards future charges that your swimmer may incur.

Finally, please don’t forget to reach out and patronize our generous sponsors wherever possible. They have supported our Team and they need our help now. Thank you for supporting our organization during this difficult time for everyone.

Message from the Head Coach;

I am really excited and looking forward to seeing many of you participating in our new virtual training and Team building program for the month of April.

Moving forward we will not be automatically collecting any monthly fees until we start our in-person workouts again. To keep athletes engaged, motivated and in shape, we will offer you 4 options of a brand new virtual training and team building program. As a coaching staff, we really want to maintain the connection, the support, the training, and the FUN with all our members; You can choose from any options below;

Option 1: You will pay 100% of your monthly fees and get the A package**

Option 2: You will pay 50% of your monthly fees and get the B package**

Option 3: You will pay 25% of your monthly fees and get the C package**

Option 4: You will not pay anything, you will return when the pool reopens again. You will remain a member.

Your payment can be made the first week of April or later, we are open to discuss with you any solutions to pay later.

Deadline: You have until Saturday, March 28, at 12 pm to choose your option.
