The Optimist Clubs provide funds, volunteers and joint fund raising opportunities for the swim club. Early in the club’s development, the Optimist Club of Regina began sponsoring the club and thus Regina Dolphins became Regina Optimist Dolphin Swim Club. Later, two other Regina clubs – the Downtowners and High Noon – also began supporting the Dolphins.
