Competitive Program: Age Group Performance

Development Stage:

11 - 13 yrs

  • Training to Train

Purpose:

  • Continue to develop and master of sport skills
  • Focus on skill, speed and flexibility
  • Continued development of mental skills - Important to competitive success and time management.
  • Refinement of tactical skills

Goals:

  • Qualify and compete at Man/Sask Championships
  • Achieve the next Age Groups A times
  • Age Group National times

Meet Types:

  • Provincial qualifiers
  • A/AA Invitationals
  • A Provincials
  • Man/Sask

Entry Minimum:

(Objective)

  • Man/Sask A time in 200 IM and 400 Fr
  • One Man/Sask AA time

Entry Minimum:

(Subjective)

  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Display of ROD pride

Training Commitment:

  • 6x/week = 14.5 hrs/week
